Rock A Betty Beauty Swatches and Review with 100 follower giveaway info

Rock A Betty Beauty is a fun little shoppe on Etsy that I recently did a look with. You can see it here. I got a nice little samplin' from them and it came in a cute retro popcorn bag that I gave to my 9 year old who thought it was so fun. Here are the first swatches of the colours I received:

From L to R
Rehab: Pure vivid matte white with large flecks of royal blue glitter
Primal: Dark matte black with some black sheen
Maneater: Flaming fuschia with large bright pink bits of glitter

Above was taken indoors, no flash. I love Rehab so much I picked it up full size with another colour, Pandora (a plum rust shade). Right now Maneater is half off at $3.50 for a 10g jar! Yowza! Tell her Tianne told you about it! I loved Maneater and as bright pink as it was, I didn't experience any irritation or glitter fallout. Really a nice shade if you want Dollipop from Sugarpill but are on a budget.

Above was taken with a flash since I wanted to showcase the silver sparkle in FrostBite.

From L to R
Security Breach: Vibrant lemon yellah
FrostBite: Midtone grey blue with large bits of silver glitter- surprisingly pretty! A romantic vintage blue with some sparkle

I also received Pin Up Pink All Over Shimmer powder that I originally thought was a blush and didn't like because it was so pale. Then I used it as a finishing powder and saw how fresh and bright my skin looked and really liked it! If BeneFit Dandelion is too 'pinky' for you, this would be a great substitute. Although it states it's a shimmer powder, I found it to be very matte and not gleamy or pearled or shimmery at all and frankly, I liked that!

My overall thoughts on Rock A Betty were that I loved the idea of the shoppe and the popcorn bag mailer- that was really fun to open! The large sized glitter may not be a hit with some, but I didn't experience fallout or disco flashes on my eyes, or irritation. If anything, they were a nice spark and refreshing from the more finely milled glitters. Very wearable. I loved seeing the pop of blue with Rehab- loved it!

Overall Opinion: A++

I loved Rock A Betty's stuff so much that I favorited them on Etsy and ordered some full sizes. Do you like Rock A Betty? I'm wanting to try their Happy Chappy lip balm as it has Clementine oil in it and I looove me an orange scent. Who knows, Christmas is coming up- it might be a great giveaway item so stay tuned!! *hint hint*

I just so loved Frostbite, it reminded me of an ice princess. That Maneater, a pink that has the look of carnation. Security Breach, looks like a sunflower color. They are so cool. I love the name of the company, so 50ish.

By the way, just got the Cleopatra collection in the mail, from Morgana Cryptoria. They are so beautiful, will be playing with them today and will blog them. I really think you will like them. Isis is gorgeous and well as Anubis. Those are just two of the colors that grabbed my eye right away.

Hope to chat with you later. Its train nite, so Johnny Boy Bob the Factory Worker won't be on stage tonight. So call me.
